Jessica Ryan
Strategic Marketing Coordinator
Born and bred Brisbane girl, Jess joined the Artedomus family after studying for her Bachelor of Interior Design and Graphic Design at QUT. She is responsible for coordinating Artedomus’s marketing strategies and initiatives. Jess is super passionate about our beautiful products and loves nothing more than seeing them be brought to life in projects. She is a professional tea enthusiast and hobby hoarder with a doggo sidekick named Teddy.
Morena Toffanello
Shipping and Logistics
Small town girl at heart, she grew up on a farm in Far North Queensland. Her roots no doubt contribute to her relaxed and easy going nature. Though now residing near the sea, she spends most of her spare time on the coastline, continuously drawn to the calm of the ocean. She is a lover of open spaces, her family, good food, better wine, yoga and pilates. As a Bachelor of Design Futures graduate, majoring in Interior Design, Morena has a love for beautiful finishes and spaces.
Roger Elliott
Brisbane Sales Manager
Roger has a wealth of experience in the installation of high quality construction materials. Originally trained as a business analyst, he has enjoyed various roles at Artedomus that include estimating, contract administration, project and manufacturing supervision, sales services and more recently business development. So he knows Artedomus and our unique products inside out. He also knows how to achieve the most beautiful results for any project.
Phil Brenton
Managing Director
Phil was born on a farm in Kansas, NZ, and grew up dreaming of being a fireman or a rodeo clown. As he developed into manhood he realised his physique was better suited to selling tiles and stone, so he set his dreams aside, hopped on his tractor and drove into Sydney to seek his fortune. Along the way he got a degree and met an ingenious, passionate Sicilian, who took advantage of his innocence and offered him a job in his stone & tile showroom, paying him only in tagliatelle and red wine. After years of wild success and mosaics, the Sicilian handed Phil the keys to the Artedomus family wagon, which he proceeded to drive down the road of time until we have got where we are today. Phil likes cheese, combat Frisbee and living under bridges.
Duane Canelas
Sydney Senior Sales
Duane (not Wayne), despite being born to Portuguese parents, is a true Aussie and has lived in Sydney all his life. He has been working at Artedomus for as long as Yoda has been part of the force. He has completed various roles; in the warehouse, project and manufacturing supervision, and sales. What Duane doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing! His knowledge, along with industry and company experience makes him a true asset to the business.
He is known for his witty sense of humour, which gives him the name of Artedomus’ Comedian.
Things you might not know about Duane; he has an identical twin brother, is a big foodie, avid golfer and met his wife at Artedomus.
Thomas Coward
Creative Director
Thomas is the creative. He oversees how Artedomus is seen. An international award winning designer of products and interiors, Thomas is a creative strategist, who works across every facet from our showroom designs and event curation to bespoke products. He likes working with Artedomus because, essentially, he says, we like the same things: namely beautiful bathroom furniture and stunning stone. He is from Cornwall in the UK and has a dog called Lewis. He has a great selection of jumpers and drinks a lot of sparkling water.
Dalia Aboud
Sydney Senior Business Development Manager
Originally hailing from the mystical land of pharaohs and pyramids, Dalia joined Artedomus as Senior BDM in 2020. In her formative years, her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting paved the way for running her own business (her original goal was to run an accounts firm!). Since discovering her abiding passion for stone, Dalia built an illustrious career working with prominent stone suppliers in Sydney. She can often be seen with a coffee in hand or a suitcase of samples. Her reputation for trustworthiness and honesty amongst her clients means that you are always assured the right product and peace of mind. While harnessing her trademark eye for detail and encyclopaedic knowledge of natural Stone, she’ll move mountains for her clients; seeking only the best materials the world has to offer. And although she’s an incurable dog lover, don’t be fooled by her diminutive stature – she’s as strong as stone too!
Yas Bahar
Victoria State Manager
Yas is our resident Persian – American – Canadian engineer. Born in Toronto and raised in Los Angeles she is the youngest of 6 children, so she knows how to make herself heard. Graduating from USC as a Civil Engineer with emphasis in Building Science (Architecture) means she loves solving problems and anything to do with architecture and design. Likes: espresso, Nutella, Game of Thrones and Hello Kitty. Dislikes blue cheese, rude people and Crocs.
Alissa Baker
Melbourne Sales Consultant
Alissa is a Byron gal born in a milk truck somewhere in the backstreets of a small coastal town. After running away with the circus at a young age she decided to pursue a career that didn’t result in breaking bones. She joined Artedomus whilst studying Interior Design with Collarts and dreams of one day having her own studio designing outdoor bathrooms (using Artedomus products of course!). Alissa loves all things tactile and has a strong appreciation for Japanese tiles. On weekends you’ll likely find her down the park on her roller skates or tending to her garden.
Kaena Rumeral-Acusa
National Operations Coordinator
Talented in organisation and colour coding spreadsheets, Kaena joined the Artedomus tactical team whilst completing her degree in Interior Architecture at UNSW. Also known as K, Gina, Tina and Karena, Kaena is notoriously known for sourcing brownies, fried chicken and sales ammunition for the Artedomus squad. A reformed shoe addict, she turned her interest to collecting books about architecture and design. She is deeply interested in podcasts and documentaries (but not limited to) crime and stuff you should know.
Chelsea Lawson-Brown
Sydney Business Development Manager
Chelsea, originally from England, came to Australia to live the backpacking dream. Swapping the English grey skies for Sydney’s sunny beaches, didn’t last long and she quickly found herself once again assisting architects & designers specifying only the best materials around!
Since joining the Artedomus team she’s found a love for all things stone and porcelain and is always quick to assist with sample requests and selecting the most suitable options from our wonderful range of products.
Jaime Cucinotta
Melbourne Architectural Sales Representative
Jaime is a young woman with lovely hair, not a Jamie who might be losing his hair.
She was born and raised in the small town of Eltham, Victoria. She later studied Interior Design & Decoration at CATC in Melbourne. Her primary responsibility at Artedomus is architectural sales and she is usually found zipping out to design and architectural studios or doing slab viewings. Jaime prefers tea over coffee and is our dedicated problem solver, she is known for being able to talk underwater. Jaime LOVES natural stone and is fascinated by anything that is formed by the earth, which explains why her spare time is spent immersed in the wilderness with her Italian husband Christian. Likes – her two dogs Rocky & Pablo and Nona’s pasta. Dislikes – bananas, impatience and slow walkers.
Joanne Ly
Sydney Architectural Sales Consultant
Proudly born and raised in Sydney, Joanne joined the Artedomus team whilst completing her honours year of Interior Architecture at UNSW. Fond of films, photography and gardening, she looks for beauty in everything which is translated into the projects she assists with, and photos she takes. Part time photographer and full time mum to dog, Nitro and cat, Koji. Side note: she is one of those (rare) people who like to drink milk for fun.
Grant Millar
Melbourne Sales Consultant
Grant is our showroom consultant who was born in Adelaide, SA. He comes to work with a smile on his face every single day but underneath his humorous exterior is a man that has no fear. His discipline come from his black belt in Judo and training as a combat engineer. Come and see him, have a chat, take advantage of his knowledge in design. Put your faith in his 20 years experience and the results will blow your mind. He is “Mr Fix It” and always gets things done. Deal with Grant and rest assured he will treat you as his number 1.
Bradley Slatter
Perth Warehouse Manager
Brad is a long time member of the Artedomus family. You can tell Brad was born and bred in the Perth Hills because of his affinity for all things nature and the bush. Bushwalking, camping, meticulously planning which native flora is going into his garden next, it’s all good in Brad’s book. When Brad is not holding down the fort at the Perth warehouse, he likes to unwind by watching all of the sports he can, especially cricket and Football (soccer), often discussing it at length with his mates over a seafood barbecue. However, these occurrences are becoming rarer and rarer as he has his 2 young daughters do a pretty good job of keeping him busy lately, but being the family man he is, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ashley Goodwin
IT Manager & Logistics
Ashley began (and nearly ended) his career as a carpenter. After a very one sided argument with a circular saw, he decided the way of the tiles was the way for him. It’s safe to say there’s not many roles at Artedomus that Ash hasn’t tried but now that he’s struck the double gold of Logistics and IT he won’t be budging easily. Ash is so deep Artedomus that he intentionally lives around 300km away from our offices so he can think about ceramics and containers for three hours before and after work too. He’s almost the perfect employee, except he supports the Panthers. Luckily, he’s now moved to Queensland with his family so he can start to support the Titans.
William Pearse
Melbourne Senior Business Development Manager
William is our font of knowledge in regard to all things Agape and INAX Japan (where he is affectionately known as “Willie-San”). He’s an enigma with a wicked sense of humour and has a background in design (and banana picking – post uni). He’s extremely discerning, his design knowledge is deep and he is all about unique architectural products that stand the test of time. He also likes to look at instagram on his computer, not his mobile phone.
He often finds the complexity in simple things, but don’t let that put you off calling him. He is amazing at what he does.
Sara Piovesan
Perth Showroom Consultant
Coming from a small, but beautiful, country town in the North of Italy, Sara decided to migrate to Australia in 2014. All her friends spoke so highly about it that she reckoned finding out for herself would be fun. It didn’t take long before Sara began selling tiles in Perth. Seven years passed and still very much roped to her Italian roots by various strands of spaghetti, love of pizza, addiction to espresso and a natural curiosity as to why the Popes in the Vatican loves marble so much, when the opportunity presented itself she willingly fell into the arms of Artedomus. Now embraced by a charming and supporting “family” and cradled in marbles, mosaics and ceramics of intoxicating beauty, you will find Sara in our Perth Showroom ready to guide you towards the best products for your project.
Miguel Garcia
Financial Controller
Miguel is our money man and also has more experience with weaponry than any other staff member. That’s unlikely to be a coincidence so when he calls, pick up the phone. Known as the Peruvian Brad Pitt, his love for football and pisco often combine to devastating effect. Tiles have been an acquired taste for Miguel but now that he’s in, he never wants to get out. We hope.
Matt Croll
Sydney Sales Manager
Matt has a passion for beautiful natural products. He is also our resident stone expert with a Bachelor Degree in Natural Resources from the University of New England. At Artedomus, we all love stone but Matt LOVES stone. He likes to talk technical and can tell you anything you need to know about our incredible natural products. A Sydney boy through and through, Matt has been a part of the local industry for many years building up a wealth of experience and knowledge: working his way up to Artedomus state manager where he has developed an enviable reputation. It is also worth mentioning that he is possibly one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
