Savour the highlights from our recent design get-together in Tasmania, hosted at Frank looking out across Hobart’s harbour at twilight.
There’s something uniquely enriching about working with Tasmanian architects. Their resourceful creativity and respect for heritage and place align with Artedomus’ own values. Whether it’s the inventive use of locally sourced timber or the thoughtful restoration of historical properties, Tassie architects demonstrate an inspired approach to design that stands out.
To show our appreciation for this special design community, we teamed up with The Local Project to host an intimate gathering on Hobart’s picturesque waterfront. Set against the backdrop of the tranquil harbour where MONA boats ferry passengers across to the iconic museum, we welcomed 35 guests – many representing Tasmania’s leading architecture firms.
The evening unfolded at Frank (famed among locals for its dishes cooked with local ingredients and infused with South American flavours). The atmosphere was infused with buoyant energy and genuine intimacy, creating space for meaningful conversations and lots of laughter in between. It was also a chance for people to reconnect, with a nostalgic air as mentors met former colleagues and old friendships were reignited.
What made this gathering so special was the focus on our shared connection – not just as clients and suppliers but as collaborators who care deeply about our respective crafts. In Tasmania, where logistical challenges often encourage creative solutions, our partnerships feel especially meaningful, supported by our commitment to making our national stock available to all our customers across Australia.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for this memorable evening and look forward to seeing the incredible work that Tasmanian architecture will yield in the year ahead. Reach our to our Tasmania team today.
