Freshly opened, Artedomus’ new Perth showroom marks an important milestone in our longstanding relationship with Western Australia’s thriving design culture.

First founded in Perth in 1982, Artedomus has maintained a presence in the region for over four decades, continually evolving our offering while staying deeply connected to the local design community. It’s been a year in the making and we’re excited to unveil our new, dedicated showroom and warehouse located in Bayswater, Perth. It’s a destination that is both a source of inspiration and a place for hands-on material selection, and doubly reinforces our commitment to partnering with and supporting the thriving architecture and design industry in WA.

“The launch of Artedomus’ Perth showroom strengthens our investment in Western Australia and deepens our collaboration with the local design community,” says Phil Brenton, Managing Director at Artedomus. “This space is about inspiring and supporting our clients, giving them direct access to our full national range while bringing our design expertise to the west.”
The rugged landscapes and earthy palettes of WA’s outback terrain have served as rich inspiration for the design of the showroom. “In selecting natural stone, porcelain, tile and furniture pieces for the showroom, we’ve referenced the raw natural beauty of our Western Australian surrounds,” reflects Thomas Coward, Creative Director at Artedomus. “Through this earthy palette of materials and furnishings the showroom pays homage to WA’s rugged landscape with tonal highlights of ochre ranging through to terracotta, burgundy and burnt red.”

Visitors to the showroom are met with a monolithic reception desk designed by Thomas for Artedomus. Clad entirely in gleaming INAX mosaics, the desk’s form is a sculptural homage to Japanese craftsmanship and the precision of modular tilework.

With an emphasis on experiential engagement, the showroom (located upstairs), is designed to reflect the way people truly interact with our extensive collection of Italian porcelain, natural stone, Japanese and Italian tiles, premium Italian bathware, and furniture. These considered spaces harmonise different textures and tones to create a dialogue between surfaces, form, and function.

These living vignettes extend right into the working kitchen, which showcases the striking 12mm Maximum Viola porcelain slabs, distinctive for its burgundy veining and marble-like patterning.

Complementing the beautiful living scenarios is the showroom’s sample zone where you can peruse products; and a meeting and hospitality zone which features the breathtaking Agape Eros table formed from Carrara marble. Also on show are a range of New Volumes pieces, including the ever-popular Pinch lights in Terraccota Marone, Terracotta Natural, and Elba – designed by Kate Stokes of Coco Flip; and the Pitcher Table by Adam Goodrum.

Timed with the showroom’s launch, Artedomus is also hosting the INAX100 exhibition, a travelling showcase celebrating a century of Japanese architectural ceramics. The exhibition, which features historic pieces from the INAX Tile Museum in Japan, underscores Artedomus’ passion for craftsmanship and material innovation and long-standing relationships with one of Japan’s most renowned tile brands.

“Artedomus has always been more than just a supplier – we are a true partner in the design process,” says Thomas. “The new Perth showroom continues this ethos, providing a tactile, immersive environment where materials and design pieces can be explored in context, and ideas can take shape.”

Artedomus Perth will be taking part in Perth Design Week, with guided tours through the INAX100 exhibition and new showroom space. Contact our WA State Manager, Bec Cornale, today to organise your tour.
