Embrace the warm, windswept tones of Dune

With the growing appeal of warm, tonal living environments we’ve observed an increased demand for surface designs – like our Dune collection of porcelain tiles – that bring grounded, textural and cocooning qualities to our home spaces.

The continued focus on earthy and organic palettes within living environments opens up new opportunities for materials such as porcelain that combine visual softness with low-maintenance practicality and high performance. Artedomus’ new Dune collection of porcelain tiles embodies these qualities and elevates them through a refined and textural aesthetic that is informed by the natural world.

The tiles’ dune-like surfaces evoke the soft, shifting contours of desert landscapes, capturing the gentle movement of sands shaped by the wind. Dune’s fine detailing enhances the tiles’ three-dimensionality to create a sense of depth that reads as both natural and considered. The collection comprises seven different tonal options, ranging from the light warms of Lime and Pearl through to moodier base notes of Amber and Shadow.

“Dune is great for living areas, infusing busy common zones with a sense of calm,” says Caine Hodder, sales consultant at Artedomus. “Dune is also a great alternative to natural stone – especially for those leaning towards a warmer palette. Because it’s a porcelain tile, you gain all the benefits of porcelain’s robust strength and durable, low-maintenance characteristics.”

Dune comes in varying tile sizes and thicknesses of 6mm, 8mm and 20mm, which allows for a continuous finish across different spaces and surfaces – from indoors to out. (Although it is worth noting that only Pearl, Taupe, Amber and Shadow are available in the 20mm thickness).

“Dune’s 6mm- and 8mm-thick tiles are suited for use on internal walls and floors,” expands Caine. “While our 20mm-thick tiles are structured for external use such as pools and pedestal systems.” Caine also highlights the versatility and strength of the 8mm-thickness which makes it suitable for external use as needed.
