Exclusive Le Corbusier: LCS ceramics

We are very pleased to announce that we have added to our extensive portfolio with the introduction of the Le Corbusier: LCS ceramics based on Le Corbusiers’ Polychromie Architecturale. A colour system innovated by Le Corbusier; the first in its kind for architectural ceramic surfaces application.

Beton Gris and Beton Blanc are inspired by Le Corbusier’s use of raw, exposed concrete. The neutral-coloured ceramic porcelain surfaces reminiscent of the minimalist character of béton brut.

LCS1 is a range of 12 colours selected from Le Corbusier’s Polychromie Architecturale. The glazed colours are hand made in an artisan workshop in Faenza, Italy, and are available in 1200-by-300-millimetre panels for interior and exterior use.

Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris better known as Le Corbusier is known today as the father of modern architecture. An artist and architect by trade, his works are respected internationally. To this day, his work influence the construction and framework of design where his works have been recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage. Manufactured through the advanced technology by the team at Gigacer Spa in Faenza, Italy and imported exclusively by Artedomus.

Taking inspiration from the many buildings designed by Le Corbusier and his use of exposed concrete, Beton Gris and Beton Blanc was created, neutral ceramic porcelain surfaces which are reminiscent of the minimalist character of the famous Beton Brut. The Beton colours are available in 2500 × 1200mm panels at their largest and is ideal for wall and floor coverings for both residential and commercial use.
These neutral colours are designed to be perfectly combined with 12 selected colours of the “Polychromie Architecturale”.

These glazed colours are hand made in an artisan workshop in Faenza, Italy and are available in 1200×300mm wall panels for interior and exterior use. The unique collection consists of 6 subdued shades and 6 bolder tones.
