The ground-breaking Sen Tapware System designed by Curiosity for Agape is a celebrated study in minimalist design and is now available in Australia for the first time, through Artedomus.
The Tokyo based design firm Curiosity started by French designer Gwenael Nicolas and Japanese marketing expert Reiko Miyamoto, is one of the world’s best known studios with awarded work spanning interiors, architecture, product and graphic design for clients such as Issey Miyake, TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent, to name a few.
The Sen System was originally created by Gwenael for his own influential C1 residence in Tokyo in 2008 and is now considered a design classic that goes beyond traditional tapware.
Nicolas’ design philosophy is heavily influenced by Wabi Sabi Suki regarding the essence of Japanese beauty. Sen means ‘line’ in Japanese with the system incorporating multiple functions in a line of independent components that are versatile and can be freely combined.
Crafted from striking black or grey anodised aluminium, options include wall mounted taps, a flexible hand shower, a shower column, surface-mounted taps, floor mounted spouts and accessories including a soap dispenser and towel holder.
Sen and Agape are exclusive to Artedomus. For more information, specifications and pricing please contact us
