Katie started out studying classical history before moving into a post-graduate degree in archaeology. But academia and digging in the dirt were not her true calling, so she tried her hand at singing, and acting in TV and film. For a while she appeared regularly on morning TV doing advertorials – “Hi Jan! I’m here to talk about Time Life and the new Slim Dusty box set!” (Yes, painful.)
Katie then decided to pursue her lifelong passion for design, a field in which she has now worked for over 20 years. She loves everything technical, values her role as a go-to advisor on all things spec, and loves to help your design come to life with support and ease.
